Bernie Supporters Must Forget Florida 2000

To get Trump elected, we need another wondrous event, such as the 2000 presidential vote in Florida.

You remember: Out of six million votes, George W. Bush beat Al Gore by 500-some votes -- in an election that saw 97,488 left-thinking Floridians voting for Ralph Nader of the Green Party.
If only one of every 100 of those Florida Nader supporters had voted for Gore, Big Al would have been president.
Now, some nattering nabobs of negativity have pointed out that, without George W. in office, there would never have been an invasion of Iraq -- a war that was completely a Bush concoction, everyone agrees.
Think of it: more than 200,000 persons died during that war -- and are still dying -- thanks to some well-meaning Florida lefties. Two hundred thousand people slaughtered -- including many many civilians -- because of a bunch of people who quite possibly thought of themselves as peaceniks.

So ...
For us retired journalists who believe a Trump victory will a create a big financial boost to news operations, the tricky part is getting all those starry-eyed Bernie supporters to vote Green or some other third party. (Write-ins are so tough in Florida that in 2000, there were only 40 registered out of the six million votes cast.)

After the 2000 debacle, many lefties have thought twice about voting for a third party -- and such thinking could clearly endanger our Trump campaign.
Thankfully, the  Green Party itself has come up with a wonderful position paper declaring that its Florida voters in 2000 were not responsible for the Bush victory.
The paper blames a ton of other people -- including the Florida secretary of state, "hanging chads"  and elderly Democrats who couldn't understand "butterfly ballots" --
while leaving Green Party devotees  blameless: The 2000 Green voters were able to make their personal statements of sneering at both major parties -- without in any way being responsible for the consequences of their votes (the kind of lefty whoopee attitude that once provided fodder for the likes of William F. Buckley).
That position paper can be found at http://www.cagreens.org/alameda/city/0803myth/myth.html
Please spread this link around among Bernie supporters so that they can get comfortable with their pro-Trump actions.
Let's make the media great again!
